The iPod is probably the best portable music player the world has ever seen. It's simple to use, easy to operate, and instantly updatable. It's easy to take this beautiful and reliable device for granted. But the iPod isn't perfect. One of our pet peeves is the inability to transfer an iPod's music back to a computer. There are a handful of nice applications you can use to take back control of your iPod. My current favorite is iMacsoft iPod to Mac Transer. Now I can use my iPod the way I want to use it, sharing my music and books among the Macs I own.

iPod to Mac Transer is a Mac OS X application that compensates for the iPod's only downside: Apple only allows you to copy songs to your iPod. If you have two Macs and want to use your iPod to transfer music from one to the other, or you only store your music and videos on your iPod and need to copy them back onto hard drive after a disk failure, you are out of luck! This is where it comes in: it allows you to copy songs and videos from any iPod or iPhone to any Mac running OS X 10.4 or higher.

How to transfer muisc from iPod to Mac:

Step 1: Download the software through "Free Trail"button. Plug your ipod into your computer and make sure it's set to manually sync music files. Launch the program, you can see all info about iPod device such as Type, Capacity, Serial Number, Version, Format, etc. are shown in the main interface.

Note: Before you run the program, please be sure you have installed iTunes on your computer, and you can manage your ipod device with no problem.

Step 2: Click "Music" icon to open iPod music library folder, you can see all music files are displayed in the interface. Locate and check the music files you want to transfer, and press "export checked files to local" button or choose "export checked files to local" in the top "Export" menu.

Step 3: Select a local folder to store your music on the left panel and click the "Save" button to export the files from your iPod to local folder.

Step 4: When finished, the following information dialogbox will be poped-up as belows:
